Writing an amount in words

On cheques and invoices the main unit is usually spelt out and the cents written as a fraction: “one thousand two hundred and thirty-four dollars and 56/100”. In Polish the noun changes with the number: 2 złote, 5 złotych, 22 złote, 12 złotych.
