Physics and engineering formulas
Pick a topic and a formula, enter the values you know and leave the unknown empty. The formula is rearranged for you.
Result

- distance
- 100 m
- time
- 9.58 s
v = s / t
How to use the formulas
Every formula can be solved for any of its quantities. In F = m · a, for example, enter the force and the mass and leave acceleration empty: you get a = F / m. Units are shown next to each box, in SI (with a few handy exceptions such as kWh or rpm).
To convert units, such as bar to pascals, use the unit converter.
