Weighted grade average
Put each grade on a new line, followed by its weight after a space, e.g. “5+ 3”. Without a weight it counts with weight 1.

average = Σ(grade · weight) / Σ weights
How a weighted average works
Multiply each grade by its weight, add the results and divide by the total weight. A test with weight 3 counts three times as much as an answer with weight 1. What a plus or minus is worth depends on the school; you can set both values.
University averages
Universities often weight by course credits: enter the grade followed by the credits, e.g. “4.5 6”.
